HEY TUMBLR, LET’S PLAY A GAME
To play this game, go to MapCrunch, select “hide location”, make sure you have all countries unselected, and click go. What this will do is drop you in a random part of the world. It’s as if you woke up on the side of a road in an unfamiliar country. The goal of the game is to find your way to an airport so you can return home.
Bonus Hard Mode: No using outside sources, and that includes using google maps to figure out your location from signs or landmarks
This was fun. I tried it, but then it dropped me two clicks away from a sign that said “Aeroporto”, so you know. Wasn’t that crazy difficult on my first go.
I ended up in the Czech Republic and I was doing so weeeelll and I got directions to the airport on Google maps after Googling a shopping center of some sort and getting its address, but in following them I got to a place where I wanted to turn but Google Maps wouldn’t let me and it’s been a mess since. Now I might have to abandon it and go to bed. Sorry Brno, I guess I’m stuck in you.
