So, I was looking in some old newspapers on Google News trying to find my parents’ birth announcements and things, and I came across this little piece here about 13-year-old paper boy Bob, who wants to go to Marquette University but apparently can’t spell his own school’s name at 13.
Well, after making fun of him for this I decided to Google the guy to see what he did with his life, and apparently he did go to Marquette and is in fact the owner of some sort of engineering consulting company. Well done, Bob, and I’m sorry I made fun of you.
I also saw an editorial praising Joseph McCarthy (of McCarthyism fame) and quoting him encouraging people to vote Republican because they’ll be the most effective in rooting out the communists. Yikes.
