A GIF HELPER GUIDE, or, how 2 add effects and text and crap to your gifs! i used photoshop cs6, but it’s the same for the past few versions.

jaymee you can do this in cs6.

open a video.

select where you want the gif to start and click the scissors.

select where you want the gif to end and click the scissors again

delete the sections on either side of the split

use layer > new adjustment layer and use that to make adjustments

crop and resize as necessary and save

idk about text though i’ve yet to try that in photoshop
