On the hoan bridge. It is wet. Too foggyish to see the lake. Depressing.

All the local schools are closed and I’m heading into work. This is a thing that sucks about adulthood.

If I had been aware that the wind chill was -10 I would not have spent like 10+ minutes standing outside without a hat and scarf.
I COULDN’T FEEL MY FINGERS OR TOES AND I ALMOST FROZE MY EARS OFF.

Feels like -27, guys. Seriously. -6 degrees, feels like -27, I just heard.

So last year I’m pretty sure Wisconsin got snow in April.
It is currently March 20th and we’re supposed to have a high of 76 today. HOW IS THIS FOR REAL. IT’S LIKE SUMMER ALREADY.
Last night in class we were like dying from the heat because we are told that the school was expecting to have the heat on for much longer, so they haven’t even done the necessary maintenance or whatever necessary to turn the air conditioning on.
I’m not complaining though. It might be time for the first dress of the year today yaaay.

This time last year, Wisconsin was heading into the worst of the “Groundhog Day Blizzard” aka THE SNOWPOCALYPSE. A couple feet of snow fell, everything was shut down, major roads were declared impassable, and down in Chicago hundreds of cars were famously abandoned by stranded drivers on Lake Shore Drive.
Today, there’s barely a few patches of snow on the ground, it’s 35 right now, and a couple days ago temps were in the 50s which is crazy for January.
THIS IS THE WEIRDEST NON-WINTER EVER. WE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE A WHITE CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR.
OBLIGATORY SNOWPOCALYPSE COMPARISON IMAGE.

I’m going to commemorate the Snowpocalypse by doing the same thing I did during the Snowpocalypse: sit on the computer and blog about the weather.

After a snow-less Christmas, it’s finally looking like winter in Wisconsin.
